Introductory course in creative use of color photographic processes and studio practices. Emphasis is on the acquisition of digital cameras, studio, and digital printing skills which enable students to successfully perceive and structure images reflecting color's formal, symbolic, and emotional impact.
Learning Outcomes1Apply knowledge of capturing and processing color digital imagery.
2Demonstrate learned skills in color correction and image enhancement using image-editing software.
3Illustrate understanding of conceptual dialogue using photography and color and compile a portfolio of images that reflect the understanding.
