This course is an advanced physiology course building on concepts and knowledge introduced in ANSC 23000 about whole body physiology. Additionally, this course will introduce interpretation of scientific literature to understand physiological processes.

Learning Outcomes

1Interpret and analyze scientific literature in Animal Physiology.

2Evaluate the background and methodology used in the literature, compare different and opposing lines of thought, including their own conclusions derived from the work.

3Acknowledge the critical thinking process in scientific work and how it could lead to the right or wrong conclusions if not carefully assessed.

4Identify and name the components of the body systems.

5Describe the physiological process that govern the body systems.

6Describe the interactions between body systems.
