Spring 2026 Lecture Distance Learning PracticumUpper Division
University-supervised fieldwork in applied behavior analysis. This practicum will facilitate development and fluency of essential professional and ethical skills necessary for the delivery of high-quality ABA services. Permission of instructor required.
Learning Outcomes1Conduct assessment to determine the need for ABA services and guide intervention decision-making.
2Design, implement, and monitor applied behavior interventions designed to increase or reduce target behaviors.
3Explain, both verbally and in writing, behavioral analytic techniques, in technical and non-technical language appropriate for the audience.
4Consult with and provide behavior skills training for behavior-change agents responsible for carrying out ABA program.
5Demonstrate ability to analyze the incorporate findings from research into applied settings.
