The study and application of sound design for dance, with emphasis on creation of sound scores for Modern Dance concerts. Instructor permission required.
Learning Outcomes1Collaborate with a choreographer to analyze and research sound/music appropriate for a particular dance work.
2Demonstrate ability to operate audio sequencers and other associated software to create a dance sound design.
3Create a complete dance sound design and integrate it into a dance performance.
