Fall 2025 Instructors:
Study and practice of advanced methods of composing fiction, with the primary emphasis on the student's own work. Workshop criticism and discussion of published writing.
Learning Outcomes1Write and revise fiction, using all the skills from English 40900 but at a more proficient level.
2Produce polished fiction revised according to suggestions received in workshop and feedback from the instructor.
3Acquire a broader knowledge of the context of contemporary fiction by reading and discussing work by several contemporary fiction writers.
