Fall 2024 LectureAn intensive study of some persistent problems of ethics, metaethics, and theory of action such as: intrinsic goods, ends and means, the concepts of utility, justice, and duty; facts and values, justification, ethical relativism, free will and blame-worthiness, belief, and action. Emphasis will be on contemporary discussions. Variable subject matter. Prerequisite: PHIL 52400.
