Fall 2024 Instructors:

Advanced study of child development in the context of family relationships. Included are a discussion of theoretical approaches to family influences on individual development and a review of research concerning sources of variation in children's relationships and interactions with parents, siblings, and other family members. Family influences on children's functioning in other contexts also are examined. Prerequisite: HDFS 60100.
