A continuation and refinement of the modern dance techniques and principles addressed in DANC 10100.

Learning Outcomes

1Learn basic anatomical, physiological and mechanical principles of the human body as they apply to movement for the intermediate level dancer.

2Learn intermediate lever locomotor movement.

3Develop kinesthetic and muscular response to tempo and rhythm.

4Develop performance awareness of space and spatial design at the intermediate level.

5Develop an appreciation for modem dance.
