This course introduces the fundamentals of robotics with an emphasis on solutions to the kinematics problems of serial robotic manipulators. It covers robot modeling and simulation, forward kinematics, inverse kinematics, analysis of robot motion and static forces, and trajectory planning.

Learning Outcomes

1Create the kinematics model of a robotic manipulator.

2Solve forward and inverse kinematics problems of a robotic manipulator.

3Analyze the motion and static forces of a robotic manipulator.

4Plan trajectories of a robotic manipulator.
