This course demonstrates procedures for analyzing tasks related to specific jobs. Topics include collecting occupational data and information, the relevance of job analysis on individual and organizational performance, impact on training and development, and associated legal issues.

Learning Outcomes

2Collect information about jobs and develop an organized job analysis report.

3Conduct job analysis.

4Effectively utilize the Dictionary of Occupational Titles and O*NET to gain occupational information.

5Recognize HR Information System and its relationship with compliance with federal and state regulations/Laws.

6Analyze jobs within an organization for the purpose of developing training or recommending other performance interventions.

7Demonstrate various uses of job analysis.

8Articulate the role of a job analysis in the improvement of organizational performance.
