Fall 2025 Lecture Upper DivisionThis course will provide a discussion about diseases affecting the heart and cardiovascular system. The normal anatomy and physiology of the heart and blood vessels with be discussed. Various diseases of the heart and vasculature, including atherosclerosis, cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and stroke will be explored. Included in the discussion of each disease process will be environmental agents, which are associated with disease development and progression.
