Spring 2025 Recitation Distance Learning Lecture Lower Division
This course builds upon information and skills obtained in an entry-level-computing course. It will take students to the next level by introducing them to more advanced techniques used in Hospitality, Tourism, Retail, and Sales Management.
Learning Outcomes1Demonstrate proper utilization of spreadsheet techniques to effectively organize and analyze data for management presentations.
2Explain the purpose of selected spreadsheet techniques and describe how they are used in Hospitality, Tourism, Retail, and Sales Management.
3Demonstrate advanced spreadsheet techniques, such as: Advanced Spreadsheet Formulas; Statistical Analysis; Validating Data Entry; Conditional Formatting; Advanced Charting Techniques; Pivot Tables; Spreadsheet Dashboards; Recording and Using Spreadsheet Macros; Power Query; Advanced Cell/Column/Row/Table Formatting; Creating Templates.
