Fall 2025 Lecture Laboratory Lower DivisionPrinciples of code, design, methods, and materials are applied to plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for buildings. The comprehension of mechanical construction plans and specifications is emphasized through exercises in mechanical estimating.
Learning Outcomes1Relate materials, means, & methods for the MEP scope to a construction project throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare a list of CSI Divisions for the MEP scope and outline the MEP scope of work for a construction project; Propose sustainability concepts to the materials, means, and methods for the MEP scope of a construction project; Schedule work sequence for the MEP scope of construction phases of a project; Apply QA/QC documents and procedures required for the MEP scope during the construction phase.
