Study of the anatomy of the body systems and the topographic relationships of the dog and cat.

Learning Outcomes

1Obtain a basic understanding of principles that can be transferred to the anatomical structures of the live dog.

2Develop mental images of the animal to assist in positioning and orientation of structures in the living animal. To assist in diagnostic procedures and evaluating the results obtained from imaging techniques.

3Be able to identify anatomical structures on dissected specimens, skeletons, radiographs, and anatomical models.
