Fall 2025 Laboratory Lecture Laboratory PreparationGeneral physiological process of mammals with special emphasis on domestic animals; normal interactions between large populations of cells, organs, organ systems and integrated functions of an entire animal; homeostatic mechanisms, physiology of body fluids and blood formed elements, muscle and cardiovascular systems.
Learning Outcomes1Provide an overview of physiology of mammalian body systems (Body fluids, blood, muscle, cardiovascular system) and general physiological processes (e.g. homeostasis), with emphasis on domestic animals
2Provide an overview of the integrated function of the different physiological systems and how they are regulated.
3Familiarize the student with the organization of cells and the functions of the blood, muscle, and cardiovascular system.
