Fall 2025 LectureSeminar course covering a broad range of current research topics in public health and related fields of study. Seminar presentations by representatives from academia, industry, government, other external institutions and organizations, and members of the Purdue University community. Intensive analysis of application of various research and statistical methodologies to the study of public health.
Learning Outcomes1Acquire an understanding and appreciation of research conducted on topics relevant to the field of public health.
2Develop a working knowledge of how research topics are determined, hypotheses are formed, methodologies are designed and implemented, data are collected, and conclusions are drawn.
3Apply knowledge of research and statistical design to student' own research projects.
