Earthwork, grading, surface drainage and storm water management. Properties of contour lines and topographic representation. Standards for grading practices, notation, and nomenclature. Methods for calculating volumes of cut and fill.

4Demonstrate an understanding of circulation systems design, including rationale, safety, and proper documentation for construction through the design of circulation systems.
5Apply knowledge of hydrology and traditional and sustainable stormwater management techniques to the design of site-specific stormwater systems.
