Fall 2026 Lecture Distance Learning Laboratory Upper DivisionThis course provides a comprehensive overview of global logistics and transportation management. Students will analyze the core components of logistics systems including packaging, materials handling, and information technology and explore how they integrate to enable efficient supply chain operations. The curriculum emphasizes the formulation of strategic decisions in transportation management, facility location, and international logistics. Key managerial issues such as demand management, customer service, and organizational design in a global context are also examined. Through this study, students will develop the foundational skills to design and assess effective logistics strategies in a complex international environment.
