Basic mammalian physiology, which covers general physiological processes with emphasis on domestic animals. Laboratory experiences and demonstrations form a major part of the laboratory instruction.

2Describe and explain the functions of the central and peripheral nervous systems.
3Describe and explain the types of muscles in the body and their functions.
4Describe and explain the regulation of the functions of the heart, lungs, kidneys, endocrine glands and gonads.
5Describe and explain the regulation of blood pressure, gas exchange in the lungs and acid-base balance.
6Describe and explain the hormonal regulation of metabolic processes and reproduction.
