Students in this course produce between 7,500-11,500 words of polished writing (or 15,000-22,000 total words, including drafts or the equivalent). Within the course, students will learn to write with a rhetorical awareness of diverse audiences, situations, and contexts; critically think about writing and rhetoric through reading, analysis, and reflection; provide constructive feedback and incorporate feedback into their own writing; perform research and evaluate sources to support claims; and engage multiple digital technologies for different purposes.
