To begin to create an atmosphere in which students learn to communicate across disciplinary lines by providing the opportunity to develop skills in presenting and evaluating research results. Students will develop short scientific presentations, an abstract, and a poster and learn to present their findings to others and to ask and answer questions from their peers. Permission of department required.
