This course is designed to develop a higher degree of coordination and judgment through additional experience in more advanced flight maneuvers and cross-country flying under Part 141 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. It will start to prepare the student for the FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate. Permission of department required.
Learning Outcomes1Demonstrate proficiency in takeoffs, landings, and flight at minimum controllable airspeed.
2Demonstrate proficiency in advanced commercial pilot maneuvers.
3Demonstrate proficiency in cross-country flight and electronic navigation.
4Demonstrate proficiency in night, abnormal, and emergency operations.
