This course covers the design, construction, operation, and overhaul practices of aircraft reciprocating and small gas-turbine engines. Airworthiness evaluation, fault-isolation techniques, and standard service and maintenance practices are emphasized. Dimensional and visual inspection and testing of engines following overhaul are stressed, as well.
