Learning Outcomes1Explain subsonic and transonic aerodynamic principles and how they relate to aircraft design and performance.
2Analyze issues related to CFIT, upset recovery, wind shear, in-flight and low altitude wake encounters, volcanic ash, anti-de-icing, and crossing restrictions/climb and descent planning.
3Interpret RNP, RNAV, GPS, and Q route IFR charts.
4Reflect upon, and internalize concepts of professional conduct and professionalism as a professional aviator.
