An overview of various fixed and rotary wing components and systems. Flight control systems, landing gear, fuel systems, wheels, brakes, and rotor systems are among the subjects studied.

2Jack, level, and compute weight and balance of aircraft.
3Measure and balance aircraft flight controls, symmetry checks, and primary flight surface removal and installation.
4Demonstrate wheel, tire, bearing assembly and disassembly. Demonstrate a helicopter rotor balance.
