Introduction to classical Latin language. Focus on grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and elementary readings.

Learning Outcomes

1Learn the basics of reading and translating Latin, including the first half of the core grammar syntax.

2Improve understanding of English by enriching their vocabulary through etymological connections and through sensitivity to grammatical structures and stylistic choices.
