Fall 2025 Lecture Distance Learning Upper DivisionThe course focuses on understanding competitive forces and how organizations strive to build sustainable competitive advantages through business- and corporate-level strategies. It integrates and builds upon previous training in functional areas and presents new analytical tools for developing an understanding of the strategic decisions that determine future directions and effectiveness of the organization.
Learning Outcomes1Develop and practice diagnostic reasoning skills relevant to problems of strategic management.
2Learn and practice communicating your reasoning and judgments related to problems of strategic management - both through face-to-face listening and persuading, and through writing formal strategic analysis reports.
