Fall 2025 Instructors:
The study of the voice production mechanism. Emphasis on exercises in relaxation, breath, alignment, and tonal focus. Permission of instructor required.
Learning Outcomes1Recognize the anatomy of the voice production mechanism.
2Classify and apply to text the International Phonetic Alphabet and the Lessac System.
3Identify any unnecessary vocal tensions to develop a clear open vocal instrument.
4Develop a flexible vocal instrument, enabling the voice to respond to a wide variety of emotional and vocal stimuli.
5Evaluate your personal vocal growth and establish a routine for continued vocal health.
