Neuroscience research has led to a better understanding of the neuronal basis of behavior. The knowledge, together with new technological approaches that can predict and even control some aspects of human behavior, can have a major impact on social and legal policies. The course explores ethical, social, and legal implications of the use of new technological and pharmacological advances in brain research. Permission of department required. Typically offered Fall.
