This course introduces the student to the field of mathematical modeling of psychological processes. Mathematical techniques employed in modeling are learned, and a number of mathematical models and theories that have been developed and employed in various important areas of experimental psychology are explained. An introduction to problems in theory and model testability also is given. Typically offered Fall Spring.
