Spring 2025 Lecture Upper DivisionThis course helps to prepare students for independent research. Students (1) develop an understanding of group-based statistical analyses, such as t-tests and ANOVA; (2) formulate and present a research idea based on statistical tools covered in class; and (3) get experience using statistical software to analyze data.
Learning Outcomes1Determine which statistics to use, how to use them and how to interpret their findings using data for conventional experimental designs in psychological sciences.
2Interpret current research in psychological sciences.
3Give oral presentations based on research.
4Develop and advance personal research interests.
