Extensive use of multimedia resources in planning specifically for the student teaching experience. No undergraduate students may be enrolled in any of these undergraduate courses until they have been admitted to teacher education.
Learning Outcomes1Have a conceptual understanding of science, how to develop a learning community within a classroom, and an understanding of and strategies to implement educational equity in a classroom.
2Learn how to carry out the practical activities of science teaching, develop worksheets, hold class discussions, develop and grade tests, and use textbooks.
3Learn about the nature of scientific understanding and classroom communities, and how to use theoretical knowledge of learners & communities to guide their teaching.
