Coordinate transformations, Jordan canonical forms, digital control, controllability and observability of continuous and discrete systems. Liapunov stability analysis. The linear regulator problem of optimal control via Hamilton Jacobi theory. Pole assignment, stabilizability, detectability. State estimation for deterministic models. Minimal order observers.
