Fall 2024Upper DivisionThis course provides students with an opportunity to gain practical work experience in environmental geoscience. The student works with a faculty advisor to set up an internship consisting of the equivalent of at least six weeks of full-time employment with a government agency, business, or consulting company. Internships typically involve field, laboratory, and office work. A portion of the internship may be part-time work during a regular semester, but at least three consecutive weeks must be full-time work. One credit hour per week of unpaid internship. Six week internship. Prior course work in upper level EAPS courses is required. Permission of department required.
