Fall 2026 Lecture Laboratory Upper DivisionThis course applies fundamental digital illustration concepts of visualization, communication and creativity using a painting metaphor. Exercises and projects develop students' digital design and painting skills, including both realistic drawing and stylized concept art. A variety of traditional digital drawing and painting techniques are used to transform concepts into communicative visual works.
