Fall 2026 Lecture Laboratory Upper Division
This course applies fundamental digital illustration concepts of visualization, communication and creativity using a painting metaphor. Exercises and projects develop students' digital design and painting skills, including both realistic drawing and stylized concept art. A variety of traditional digital drawing and painting techniques are used to transform concepts into communicative visual works.

4Apply concepts of perspective, anatomy and lighting to create realistic and stylized digital paintings.
