Continued work at the advanced-intermediate level with a focus on vocabulary and grammar for contexts in a wide variety of professional settings. Conducted primarily in Spanish.
Learning Outcomes1Build upon and improve intermediate Spanish language skills.
2Develop necessary vocabulary for communication in the target language within broader professional contexts.
3Create real-world scenarios that facilitate, promote, and practice professional communication in the target language.
4Incorporate trade-specific situations that are relevant and applicable to each student and his/her respective field of study, while covering the broader implications of these contexts.
5Promote personal and meaningful application of material through personalized activities and projects that students could use as part of their job search.
6Examine and present current news events through articles, websites, and videos.
