Spring 2026 Lecture Distance Learning Lower Division
An orientation course to inform students of the various areas in chemical engineering, to assist them in selection of electives suited to their particular abilities and interest, and to instill a sense of professional ethics and responsibility. Lectures drawn from all fields of chemical engineering.
Learning Outcomes1Demonstrate an understanding of the need for academic and professional integrity and ethical behavior.
2Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary issues encountered in the professional practice of chemical engineering including business practices, environmental, health, and safety issues and other public interests.
