Spring 2025 Lecture Laboratory Distance Learning Upper Division
Senior-level environmental and ecological engineering design projects. Projects will integrate knowledge and skills earlier in the degree program and stress the application of the design process to interdisciplinary environmental and/or ecological engineering systems. Permission of department required.
Learning Outcomes1An ability to apply material and concepts from previous EEE coursework to an innovative design project.
2An understanding of the complete design process and an ability to perform the process.
3An ability to identify and acquire new knowledge as a part of the problem-solving/design process.
4An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.
5An ability to communicate professional design and design decisions effectively.
6An awareness of professional ethics and responsibility of engineers.
7An appreciation of the role of engineering and of EEE in social contexts.
