Instruction and application of concepts for effective oral professional presentations in the field of Animal Sciences. The course will provide students with knowledge for effective oral communication of scientific information and an opportunity to put guidelines into practice. Permission of department required.

1Enhance critical thinking skills for graduate students in animal sciences.

2Enable students with skills needed to organize information from multiple scientific sources into a coherent oral presentation.

3Enable development of skills for effective oral communication of research and current research concepts to animal science audiences.
