A didactic course outlining the protocol law enforcement will utilize when conducting a crime scene investigation where veterinarians are expected to give assistance. The course framework includes initial response, scene processing and evidence collection, documenting the crime scene, and crime scene equipment. Actual cases will be included when available. Prerequisite: DVM degree. Permission of instructor required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
