Introduces students to the design and implementation of an honors research project.
Learning Outcomes1Identify the requirements for graduation with honors from Nutrition Science.
2Define specific goals for completion of their Honors Project.
3Recognize the benefits of graduating with honors.
4Discuss research currently being done in Nutrition Science.
5Identify faculty interested in serving as mentors for students pursuing Honors Research Projects in Nutrition Science.
6Locate and obtain research articles relevant to their research project.
7Write appropriate citations for research articles.
8Explain the scientific method and research ethics.
