This course aims to expand students' understanding of hematology and oncology topics. After completion, the student should be able to apply course concepts to actual patient cases. CLPH 49000 will be collaboratively taught by oncology pharmacists and residents from the greater Indianapolis area hospitals. Students will be exposed to relevant topics including current events, supportive care, bone marrow transplant, renal cell carcinoma, specialty pharmacy administration and leadership, oral chemotherapy, palliative care and career paths in oncology pharmacy.
