Independent study in which student engages in research under the supervision of a faculty member. Involves developing a research proposal, beginning the project, and submitting a summary of the project plan and progress. First semester of a two-semester sequence to fulfill the requirements of the capstone thesis for the Developmental & Family Science major. Permission of instructor required.
