Fall 2025 Instructors:

An in-depth study of developmental processes from the transition to adulthood through old age. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding the influence of contexts on adult development.

Learning Outcomes

1Identify biological, psychological, social, and demographic aspects of adult development and how they interact over time.

2Identify theoretical perspectives on human development, and apply them in understanding life trajectories.

3Understand and apply the process of doing research in adult development.

4Communicate academic ideas clearly and effectively.
