Fall 2025 Lecture Upper DivisionA one-credit course designed to prepare Purdue Promise students for the next chapter of their professional journey through the reflection of past experiences and the acquisition of new knowledge, expectations, and skills necessary to be successful citizens and employees post-graduation. This course is only for students in the Purdue Promise program. Permission of instructor required.
Learning Outcomes1Identify expectations of post-graduation life.
2Be informed of benefits, insurance, paycheck, and tax information.
3Learn how to navigate their new positions and organizations-cultures, co-workers, supervisors, and workplace challenges.
4Learn how to maintain marketability in the job market.
5Learn the necessary life skills of living in a new town, with transitions, new financial obligations, and new responsibilities.
6Reflect upon their college experience and how it has prepared them for their transition out of college.
