Fall 2025 Instructors:

Culminating experience required for all anthropology majors. Course synthesizes four-field anthropology coursework and training, and discusses academic/career options that benefit from anthropological training. Major element of the course will include synthesis paper and presentation, senior portfolio, and professional development.

Learning Outcomes

1Reflect on their development as an anthropologist and articulate their degree's value in pursuit of their professional interests and goals.

2Articulate a synthetic anthropological research question, and write a well-thought out and properly cited research paper using their accumulated research skills.

3Think critically about the role of anthropology in addressing the Grand Challenge facing society in the 21st Century.
