Fall 2025 Instructors:

A cross-cultural survey stressing different basic personality types and the processes by which adult personality is acquired. Case studies of selected non-Western cultures will be used to provide comparative perspective.

2Distinguish and relate childhood and adult processes of enculturation and socialization.

3Appraise how, why, and to what extent every individual and every society is unique, comparable to some others, and similar to all others.
